Summary

 Join the Firmwide Finance Business Architecture (FFBA) team that is responsible for the Global Finance organization Data Acquisition & Consumption (including Credit Risk & Treasury), Financial & Management Reporting, and General Ledger (GL) Target Platform Strategies. The team has established a consolidated framework that creates opportunities for broad-scale communication, streamlined governance, and increased oversight.  

A key objective of the Business Architect Team is to manage the delivery of large-scale infrastructure programs and business process change management events to ensure accurate, complete and consistent data is readily available for both internal financial reporting and external regulatory reporting purposes, consumed by both Line of Business stakeholders and corporate groups.

One of the top priorities across Global Finance, Credit Risk and Liquidity is to evolve the organization to a more integrated data and reporting strategy – one that is globally consistent and usable for business, finance, risk and regulatory requirements.

As a Program Management, Associate within the Business Architecture Data Acquisition team, you will be engaged in delivering large scale infrastructure programs and business process change management events to ensure accurate, complete and consistent data is readily available for various Risk Stripes, consumed by both Line of Business stakeholders and Corporate groups.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the end-to-end Software Development lifecycle from requirements gathering to grooming to develop to testing and deployment
  2. Interpret Corporate consumers data requirements and create business requirements in the form of user stories to enhance the data, reporting automation, and digital analytics toolsets..
  3. Engage with development teams to ensure business needs are translated into appropriate technical specifications, and acceptance criteria is met
  4. Prioritize the backlog of user stories for delivery, based on alignment to the schedule deployment plan
  5. Work with lines of business to understand their products, how data is captured, and how to strategically source data into a cloud based big data architecture
  6. Partner with Implementation leads, Release managers, Project managers and other data Subject Matter Experts understand various Lines of Business and asset class data and source system flows and complexities as it relates to the Finance and Risk applications and infrastructure

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  1. Bachelors' degree required
  2. 3 years of related experience (financial services and/or regulatory reporting)
  3. Overall strong desktop skills with particular emphasis in Excel
  4. Strong skills interacting with data including using SQL to query
  5. Ability to build strong relationships with partner teams
  6. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple streams of work concurrently

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: 

  1. Experience in the requirements gathering and documentation process
  2. Experience with Agile development and background with the software development lifecycle. Ideally, familiarity with Jira
  3. Experience with understanding and working with large volumes of data across multiple products
  4. Experience in planning, coordinating, and delivering results across multiple teams and interdependencies
  5. Knowledge and experience of derivatives products
