Summary
Ripple is expanding, and we are seeking a dynamic and versatile Quant Trader for our London and Singapore office. This role is pivotal for a proactive, innovative individual who excels in a quantifiable performance environments. We’re looking for an inquisitive and adaptable professional who is looking for a high-impact role with a rapidly growing company at the intersection of finance and technology.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Operating proprietary systems in accordance with the trading desk’s objectives.
- Monitoring trading activity and positions consistently throughout the shift.
- Performing research and post-trade analysis using the firm's research tools on various algorithmic trading strategies to improve profitability of existing models.
- Applying expertise in market microstructure, historical tick data, and quantitative modeling to conduct research and develop new sources of alpha.
- Working closely with strategy developers to collaborate, propose, and test certain strategy-specific code changes related to execution, pricing, and risk management.
- Communicating with risk managers and internal technology groups regarding production issues.
- Working with the teams to solve for trade breaks, position, and activity reconciliation exceptions.
- This role may include out of hours shifts (remote)
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related analytical field.
- At least 4 years of experience in trading, finance, or related fields, with a focus on digital assets and FX.
- Strong analytical, quantitative and math skills.
- Experience in Python, Java a plus
- Passion for FinTech, markets, and technological innovation in trading.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and interpersonal skills focused on contributing to the success of the trading desk.
- Work in a team environment 7x24x365 with the ability to function with independent discretion during rotating shift work.
