Job Description
Summary
We're looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to support our team of recruiters. You will be a Block ambassador and ensure that every candidate has the best possible experience.
You Will
- Be one of the first Block employees our candidates communicate with. Make them feel informed, delighted, and taken care of.
- Manage all coordination of interviews virtually. It'll often be across time zones with complex panels and both interviewers and candidates will have questions for you!
- Be a team player, working with your RC teammates and recruiters to help each other out.
- Don't assume because something is the way it is, it's the way it has to be. Offer ideas to refine our processes and improve upon existing programs.
You Have
- A human-centric approach to your work. You want to be a resource for candidates, recruiters, and interviewers.
- A mind geared toward logistics. You can work on complex scheduling requests with many details, requirements, and contrasting time zones. You put your feet in the shoes of both the candidates and the interviewers to think of everything.
- Identify what tasks require your immediate attention, whether it's working through new scheduling requests, reschedule requests, or last minute conflicts.
- Clear verbal and written communication with an emphasis on being concise and cordial.
- A desire to build the Block team and expand your knowledge of recruiting.
- You grow in an accelerated environment and feel confident managing ambiguous interview schedules.
- You are motivated to provide an exceptional candidate and interviewer experience and be the best partner to your colleagues. You keep your interviews in order, have integrity, and great follow through on tasks. You don't get intimidated easily... hundreds of candidates each month? No prob!
Even better:
- 1 or more years of recruiting coordinator and ATS (applicant tracking system) experience
- 1 or more years of customer service experience and experience with a CRM (customer relationship management) tool
