What you will be doing
As a Research Assistant on the Treasury Team, your primary role is to provide valuable insights that support key treasury decisions. You’ll dive deep into a wide range of topics, from financial trends to emerging technologies, and synthesize complex information into actionable reports. You will help the team stay ahead of the curve, assess market conditions, and support strategic decision-making with data-driven insights. What your day-to-day looks like
- Conduct Research: Dive into a mix of topics, from global financial trends to technological advancements in the finance industry. Your research will be the foundation of the team’s strategy.
- Analyze Data: Crunch numbers, run models, and translate data into clear insights that help the Treasury team make informed decisions.
- Create Reports & Presentations: Prepare concise, engaging reports and presentations that make complex findings accessible and easy to understand.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with other teams, including finance and risk management, to gather relevant data and get different perspectives.
- Monitor Trends & News: Stay on top of market trends, regulations, and emerging technologies that could impact the treasury’s strategy.
- Manage Multiple Projects: Juggle several research assignments at once, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality insights.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive financial and strategic information with the utmost professionalism and discretion
Job requirements
What you need to have
- 2-3 years of experience in research, data analysis, or a related field.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, Python, R, or similar.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to present complex information.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to spot patterns and inconsistencies in data.
