Summary

What you'll do

  1. Assist in the development and updating of risk management policies and procedures
  2. Support the team in conducting risk assessments to identify potential organizational and operational risks including business continuity, financial risk and 3rd party risks
  3. Utilize the company’s existing risk framework and tools to identify and analyze risk across the organization
  4. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified risks
  5. Foster a risk-aware culture within the organization through effective communication and training initiatives
  6. Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify risk factors
  7. Support the Risk Team in creating and presenting risk reports and other risk -related deliverables

What we expect from you

  1. BA/BS degree in Risk Management, Finance or Business Administration required
  2. 0-1 year experience in risk management, governance, compliance and/ or resilience experience, preferably with a financial institution with regional operations
  3. Willingness and ability to accept responsibility and seek/provide guidance to department team members
  4. Working knowledge of MS Office/ Google Workspace
  5. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  6. Strong initiative with exceptional analytical and reasoning skills
