Summary
What you'll do
- Assist in the development and updating of risk management policies and procedures
- Support the team in conducting risk assessments to identify potential organizational and operational risks including business continuity, financial risk and 3rd party risks
- Utilize the company’s existing risk framework and tools to identify and analyze risk across the organization
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified risks
- Foster a risk-aware culture within the organization through effective communication and training initiatives
- Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify risk factors
- Support the Risk Team in creating and presenting risk reports and other risk -related deliverables
What we expect from you
- BA/BS degree in Risk Management, Finance or Business Administration required
- 0-1 year experience in risk management, governance, compliance and/ or resilience experience, preferably with a financial institution with regional operations
- Willingness and ability to accept responsibility and seek/provide guidance to department team members
- Working knowledge of MS Office/ Google Workspace
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Strong initiative with exceptional analytical and reasoning skills
