Now, as we scale our operations, we are looking to grow the team by hiring the most talented sales professionals on the planet who are curious and passionate about the mainstream adoption of cryptocurrency and the technology that underpins it. And that’s where you come in!

We are on the hunt for a new Sales & Development Lead to join our team remotely in either Hong Kong or Singapore! We are seeking highly ambitious and driven sales professionals to spearhead CF Benchmark sales initiatives for our suite of index products.

The Number One Goal of this role is to grow our client base, generating new revenue through new business and ultimately help our clients succeed. You will identify fresh business opportunities by leveraging various sales strategies, both inbound and outbound. Additionally, you will manage an existing portfolio of clients and offer tailored and innovative business solutions to drive growth for both parties.

The Opportunity

  1. Support the institutional sales effort across the APAC region, drive client and volume growth for the CF Benchmark product suite.
  2. Generate, filter, and pursue client leads, including responding to inbound opportunities and assisting team members in doing the same. 
  3. Build trustworthy relationships with our institutional clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how Kraken can generate value for them.
  4. Act as CF Benchmarks’ primary point of contact in the APAC region for existing and prospective clients.
  5. Represent CF Benchmarks at industry events, travel across the APAC region for client meetings and industry events. 
  6. Be an active member of the local cryptocurrency/digital asset community, through face to face meetings, zoom calls, local meetups
  7. Be a Kraken advocate in promoting our full product suite of products, services and company’s value to new and existing clients.

Skills You Should HODL

  1. Over 5 years of expertise in traditional finance sales, demonstrating a proven track record of driving sales and expanding business within the institutional sales segment. Experience working in a crypto native environment is a big plus.
  2. Knowledge of complex financial products such as ETFs, structured products, derivatives, and indexes. 
  3. Demonstrated ability to understand complex business problems, conduct analysis and identify innovative solutions.
  4. Possess comprehensive knowledge of cryptocurrency regulations with a proven ability to navigate and ensure adherence to evolving regulatory frameworks.
  5. A robust personal network within the financial services sector, particularly with a focus on institutional and corporate clients.
  6. Fearlessness to innovate boldly, move swiftly, and take calculated risks.
  7. Passion about the cryptocurrency world and most importantly a learning attitude about new crypto-industry trends.
  8. Believe wholeheartedly in the crypto, cypherpunk, libertarian values of Kraken described in our Tentaclements document.
  9. Located in Singapore or Hong Kong with fluency in both English and Chinese; proficiency in an additional language is a plus.
