As a Sales Engineer specialising in Payments, you’ll support the EMEA sales team by demonstrating the value of Fireblocks’ payment solutions to prospective clients. You’ll work closely with Sales Directors, Business Development Representatives, and Product Teams to deliver tailored technical solutions that address the unique needs of the payments sector.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with Sales Directors to deliver tailored product demonstrations, workshops, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) that showcase Fireblocks’ blockchain payment capabilities.
  2. Solution Design: Assess client requirements and design technical solutions that integrate Fireblocks’ infrastructure into their payment workflows. Ensure solutions meet scalability, security, and compliance standards.
  3. Technical Presentations: Present in-depth technical content to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-level executives, focusing on digital asset payments.
  4. Customer Engagement: Guide clients through the onboarding process, ensuring seamless integration with Fireblocks’ MPC-based Wallet Infrastructure and APIs.
  5. RFP Management: Lead the technical response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring accurate and compelling answers that align with client needs.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, R&D, and Security teams to address customer feedback and ensure solutions align with Fireblocks’ capabilities.
  7. Industry Expertise: Stay informed about trends and challenges in the payments and blockchain space, positioning Fireblocks as a trusted advisor in digital asset payments.

What You’ll Bring

  1. Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar technical pre-sales role, preferably in fintech, blockchain, payments, or cybersecurity.
  2. Strong knowledge of the payments industry in EMEA, including cross-border payments, PSPs, and blockchain-based payment networks.
  3. Technical proficiency with SaaS platforms, APIs, and security technologies.
  4. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-focused value propositions.
  5. Skilled in delivering tailored demos and engaging presentations to diverse audiences.
  6. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  7. A passion for blockchain technology and its applications in payments.
  8. Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
