Summary

We’re looking for a FinTech oriented intern to join our Sales team this summer. The Sales intern will support the Ripple Payments and Ripple Custody Sales teams to build a robust pool of potential customers this summer. They will be responsible for developing strategy, sourcing and securing strategic relationships with crypto friendly payment companies, FinTech, banks to deliver Ripple’s vision, launch new products/verticals and drive network outcome.

We take an inclusive approach to the market and expect to partner with all types of financial institutions, including financial technology (FinTech) companies. Your responsibility will be to map this market, prioritize prospects, and source partnerships. You will play a crucial role at the company, qualifying leads to identify viable sales opportunities for our sales pipeline.

Ideal candidates are creative problem solvers, strong communicators, and committed leaders who can apply data insights, take timely action, and influence cross-functionally.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  1. Conduct industry and market research to identify key market opportunities and optimize the team’s sales effort
  2. Find prospective partners for Ripple, including payment and FinTech companies, financial institutions, digital asset infrastructure players, and tech companies.
  3. Support the sourcing of new deals by searching for opportunities on major platforms, databases, attending conferences, meetups, among others
  4. Cultivate positive relationships with cross-functional teams; collaborate with compliance, legal, and finance to ensure efficient and compliant strategy execution
  5. Find opportunities through structured qualitative customer feedback, quantitative analyses, and competitive analyses
  6. Be the “voice of the market” through industry research, competitive analysis, quantitative analysis

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  1. Currently enrolled in a business degree program with a graduation date of 2026 or later
  2. Passion for FinTech, blockchain and innovative technologies
  3. Experience in consulting, business development, product marketing, strategic partnerships
  4. Experience conducting research and communicating thoughtful analysis with clear recommendations
  5. Ability to work effectively with team members, take on responsibility, and work independently
  6. Experience working within a dynamic, constantly evolving environments

For positions that will be based in NY, the annual salary range for this position is below. Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position. This range does not include equity or additional compensation, such as bonuses or commissions. 

NY Annual Base Salary Range

$28—$31 USD
