The Position

We are seeking an experienced Backend developer. As a Senior Backend Developer at our dynamic and innovative technology firm, you will be instrumental in architecting the backbone of our digital ecosystem. Your mastery of backend technologies will empower you to craft, evolve, and safeguard high-caliber, secure, and resilient backend systems. These systems are the driving force behind our platform's seamless user experience, operational efficiency, and sustained business advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build Scalable Backend Systems: Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance backend APIs using Node.js. Design and manage NoSQL and SQL databases for optimal data handling.
• Security & Compliance: Implement robust security measures and ensure platform compliance with relevant regulations. Regularly conduct security audits to identify and address vulnerabilities.
• Drive Performance & Optimization: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement strategies to improve backend scalability and efficiency.
• Foster Collaboration & Innovation: Lead the development of microservices architecture and collaborate effectively with frontend developers. Mentor junior backend developers and cultivate a culture of continuous learning.
• Automate Workflows & Delivery: Implement DevOps practices using tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. Establish CI/CD pipelines for smooth and reliable software deployments.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend development experience with a focus on JavaScript and Node.js.
• Proficient in database design and management (NoSQL & SQL) and microservices development.
• Skilled in RESTful APIs and common protocols (Ddp, Grpc, rpc) for API integration.
• Strong understanding of Git with collaborative development workflows.
• Experience in securing web applications and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and communication.
• Passionate about backend development with a strong desire to learn (Rust a plus).
• Fluency in portuguese and english. Spanish is an advantage.
