Summary

You will act as a manager for Business Operations related tasks and projects to ensure the highest outcome for the organization. 

You will manage our day-to-day activities while being exposed to different projects and stakeholders. You will shape our operations by being responsible for the project portfolio management framework in close collaboration with the key stakeholders. You will procure the best tools and services, drive operational excellence, and build scalable processes. 

You will use your leadership skills as well as your attention to detail and assertiveness to ensure our team successfully achieves the goals. The role offers an ability to have a major impact on all aspects of the business and a very steep learning curve.

In this role, you will:
  1. Be part of the Operations team in all aspects of our operational duties which include: Business Continuity Management & Process Management, Procurement & Vendor Management, and Project Portfolio Management
  2. Oversee and execute the procurement & vendor management processes to select the best tools and service providers in close collaboration with the business owners and the second line (e.g. Outsourcing, Risk, DPO, Compliance)
  3. Take responsibility for project portfolio management to establish the best approach to identifying, prioritizing, coordinating and monitoring projects that align with Finoa's strategy and goals
  4. Provide operational and project support on day-to-day activities and key projects
  5. Partner with colleagues to establish, implement, and improve operational processes
  6. Support the Senior Management in ad-hoc reports, business cases, analyses, and other relevant topics
  7. Design, lead, and drive effective organizational change of operational standards, focusing on productivity and operational excellence
  8. Lead cross-functional projects that foster productivity and excellence across every part of the business
What you need to be successful:
  1. You have 5+ years of work experience, preferably in a fast-growing (fintech) start-up environment, banking, or consulting firm
  2. You have strong organizational skills and are comfortable to manage ambiguity and multiple high-volume workloads in a fast-paced environment
  3. You possess excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge in German is a plus.
  4. You have experience working with Product/Tech teams, Compliance, Risk, and C-level executives
  5. You completed a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Computer Science, or other related disciplines is a plus
  6. You show passion and grit to solve complex problems and build scalable processes
  7. You have professional or personal experience or at least a very strong interest in crypto and financial markets
  8. You thrive in an entrepreneurial team, are driven by intellectual curiosity, and leverage your strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
