Summary
As a Senior Commissions Analyst, you'll help ensure sales teams are properly incentivized and compensated for their efforts in accordance with sales, accounting, and budgeting policies. You'll assist in optimizing key processes following best practices in a way that scales with Chainalysis’s hyper-growth and sets the company up for future success.
In this role, you’ll:
- Responsible for day-to-day commission administration in CaptivateIQ or similar sales commission system, resulting in accurate and timely commission payments
- Create, validate, and audit monthly reports to ensure the accuracy and completeness of commission crediting and payout results
- Troubleshoot and resolve calculation and data errors within the tool
- Respond to compensation-related inquiries from the Sales Team in an effective and timely manner
- Perform configuration, testing, and other support activities related to plan, quota, and policy changes
- Calculate commission/incentive award payments to sales personnel based on commission plan provisions
- Prepare key monthly commission reconciliation reports including reporting of monthly commission and sales attainment metrics
- Proactively identify, develop, and implement process improvements, documenting desktop procedures and training documentation to achieve efficiencies and scalability
- Generate internal documentation on compensation plans, reporting guidelines and compensation related FAQs and manage employee inquiries
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- 5+ years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Accounting or similar field
- Excellent communication skills and ability to partner effectively across functions and levels throughout the company
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with big-picture strategic understanding
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Capable of taking initiative to drive process change and improvements
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic setting while maintaining accuracy and delivering against deadlines
Nice to have experience:
- Experience with sales commission tools (CaptivateIQ, Xactly, or similar)
- Experience with SalesForce
- Experience with Tableau, Periscope, or Looker to create reports and dashboa
