Summary

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in empowering our design, development, and marketing teams of Immutable to ensure our platform uses data to make data-driven decisions. You will do this through quantitative investigations of user interactions, understanding the success of different features, and making recommendations.

  1. Ensure data-driven decisions are made across the Studio, Marketing, and Product teams by providing valuable insights and analysis
  2. Conduct quantitative research and analysis of user interactions, identifying patterns and trends that can inform strategic decisions and improve the platform and studio
  3. Assess the success of different features, measuring their effectiveness, and providing recommendations on optimising them to enhance the user experience and achieve business objectives
  4. Develop and implement predictive models to forecast user behaviour, inform product development, and drive targeted marketing efforts
  5. Create visualisations and generate reports that effectively communicate insights and findings to stakeholders, helping inform decision-making across the organisation
  6. Collaborate with various teams, including Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing, to ensure that data analysis and recommendations align with the overall business strategy and objectives
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science and related technologies, ensuring that the company remains competitive and innovative in its approach to data-driven decision-making
  8. Assess the success of different features, measuring their effectiveness, and providing recommendations on optimising them to enhance the user experience and achieve business objectives

We'd Love You To Bring 🤝

  1. 5+ years experience in Data Science or a closely related field
  2. Proficiency in data analysis, modelling, and visualisation
  3. Expertise in SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting, a solid grasp of standard statistical methods and applications to draw conclusions (A/B testing, time series analysis, forecasting and regression)
  4. Experience designing and implementing A/B tests to evaluate the impact of different features, designs, or strategies on user behaviour and business outcomes
  5. Extensive Measurement knowledge, including audience sizing, impression/attribution/conversion tracking, campaign performance tracking, ROI/ROAS/LTV, etc
  6. Strong stakeholder management skills
  7. Strong problem-solving capabilities to drive to the heart of a problem and understand the full range of underlying drivers/causes; generate hypotheses
  8. Strong product thinking - customer empathy, making proactive recommendations for how to apply insights
  9. Excellent data communication - pick the right visualisations, analogies, etc, to communicate complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences
  10. Interest in emerging technologies
