Summary

RippleX team is growing, and we are seeking an ambitious engineering manager to lead our platform and performance engineering teams.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

1. Manage and mentor team members for professional and technical growth, while providing hands-on leadership.
2. Develop and deliver the roadmap in alignment with business and organizational goals
3. Deliver results and think strategically while balancing both short and long term
4. Encourage and drive engineering best practices
5. Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders across Ripple and in the XRPL community
6. Implement agile processes for innovation and incremental objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING: 

1. Overall 10+ years of progressive experience out of which, 6+ years of hands-on backend engineering and 4+ years people management / leadership experience managing 8 or more engineers.
2. Strong experience in DevOps / Infrastructure / Performance engineering.
3. Extensive experience on managing cloud infrastructure, preferably with AWS.
4. Experience with highly scalable multi-region distributed systems.
5. Strong passion for solid platform fundamentals such as automation, scalability, availability and performance.
6. Solid leadership, cross functional collaboration and communication skills.
7. BS in Computer Science or similar
