Summary

This role will be the main day-to-day FP&A partner for our developer organization who are building tools and protocols to support developers build products in the crypto ecosystem, including Base. This is a unique opportunity to bring your financial acumen to help support building the open financial system of the future.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

1. Providing monthly budgeting, variance analysis and forecasting support to multiple stakeholders, including business unit leaders and corporate FP&A
2. Working with HR and Talent Business Partners to forecast headcount needs 
3. Conduct monthly budget reviews and annual planning exercises
4. Lead deep dives into particular expense or revenue lines to understand their drivers and potential levers to enhance financial performance
5. Supporting with month end close processes and quarter earnings call preparation

5. Strong interest in Crypto economy, Coinbase’s products and a desire to continuously learn
6. Strong technical skills - ability to use Google Sheets and strong financial acumen 
7. At least 4 years experience in an FP&A, or strategic finance role or similar fast-paced finance environment (investment banking, asset management etc)

Nice to haves:

1. Coding experience (SQL or Python) 
2. Experience using Anaplan and/or Netsuite

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).

Pay Range:

$105,400—$124,000 USD
