Summary

We're seeking a Senior Front End Software Engineer to contribute to the improvement and maintenance of the ICP Dashboard . This is a tool developed by the DFINITY Foundation that provides real-time network insights into the Internet Computer and enables users to monitor and search for historical and current information. 

Responsibilities:

1. Implementing new or redesigning existing React components based on Figma designs, including improvements, bug fixes, and proactively implementing new features without specific designs.
2. Perform thorough code reviews to identify issues and suggest improvements, ensuring high-quality code standards.
3. Mentor other front-end developers, providing guidance and support to enhance team skills and productivity.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience as a front end software engineer, with a proven track record of shipping products
2. Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS, and TypeScript, with a commitment to well-documented and clearly-commented code.
3. Experience working with React or other modern MVC frameworks, and designing and implementing reusable and composable React components.
4. Strong sense for design and UI/UX.
5. Ability to code with multiple target form factors (mobile, tablet, desktop) in mind.
6. Proficient in integrating web applications with RESTful APIs.
7. Strong attention to detail, ensuring clean, organized, and maintainable code.
8. The ability to effectively collaborate with coworkers across multiple time zones.
9. Pluses include: Rust, Next.js, KendoReact, BEM (Block-Element-Modifier) CSS class naming
10. Familiarity with cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies is a plus.
11. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a closely related field

This is a remote role with much of the current team based in the US on EST, so preference for those that can work in overlapping timezones.
