Summary

BitGo is looking for a Frontend Engineer who will join our team in Bangalore, India.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate closely with design and product managers to plan and develop new UIs for upcoming initiatives
2. Improve existing UI functionality on a variety of products
3. Build reusable code for future use
4. Cross-team communications with stakeholders to understand implementation requirements and limitations
5. Provide mentorship to peers in the broader engineering team through code reviews and promoting best practices
6. Provide maintenance support and enhance performance to existing applications
7. Coordinate with stakeholders in the US and other global locations. This potentially involves taking calls in the PST/ EST timezone to keep in sync with your geographically distributed team.

Required:

1. At least 3+ years of frontend software engineering experience
2. Experience with React.js and keep up to date with the latest frontend developments
3. Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS and HTML
4. Experience working with Node.js and Express applications
5. A keen eye for detail and for providing an excellent user experience
6. Experience with unit, integration and end-to-end testing
7. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

1. Understanding and strong interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain
2. Experience with Next.JS
3. Experience working with design systems
