Summary

We are looking for a Software Engineer who's eager to pioneer the next wave of crypto adoption by developing innovative features for MetaMask Card and refining our current offerings.

This will include work related to the MetaMask Card offering and how we can facilitate the integration of web3 with traditional payment methods. Many of the activities we focus on are related to user experience (mobile / web / browser extension) and API integration.

You'll be responsible for developing new features and managing various partners, payment methods, and crypto assets. Your goal is to streamline the integration process while curbing the growth of technical debt. Concurrently, you'll engage in research to conceive innovative features.

1. 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer working on Production applications
2. Experience with mobile development (React Native)
3. Experience with web development (React)
4. Experience with back-end development (Node/Express/NestJS)
5. Experience working on agile projects in an Agile environment
6. Experience working in CI/CD setup
7. Experience working in a distributed, remote team environment
8. Excellent communication skills
9. Writing good technical documentation
10. Located in North or South America/able to work PT or ET business hours

Bonus point for any of:

1. Understanding of how traditional debit/credit card protocols work
2. Understanding of the Ethereum ecosystem
3. Experience with third-party integration (web views, APIs, OpenAPI specifications…)
4. General interest in DevOps topics / experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes and deploying cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure)
5. Interest in streamlining and automating recurring processes
6. Blockchain / smart contract development: Solidity / Ethereum, Web3.js or Ethers.js library
7. Experience using or working with decentralized applications or web3 protocols
8. BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related subject
