Summary

What you'll do

  1. Lead in the coordination of all government/public affairs activities in the Philippines, including engagement with a broad range of public officials, policymakers, academics, partners, industry associations, and other stakeholders
  2. Work with the various offices and agencies of the government on relevant areas of policy and/or law applicable to the fintech industry. 
  3. Monitor policies, administrative, and/or legislative developments, evaluate the potential impact of legislative, administrative, and other proposals that may affect the Company, and recommend solutions and collaborate with internal stakeholders

What we expect from you

  1. Minimum 5 to 8 years of demonstrated experience managing public policy and/or government relations and advocacy work
  2. Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, Legal Management, or related fields or Juris Doctor graduate
  3. Extensive knowledge and understanding of the legal and administrative systems of the Philippine government and its governmental protocols
  4. Experience working and engaging with policymakers, civil society, non-governmental organizations, and other stakeholders
  5. A good team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
  6. Motivated self-starter with a passion for payments and cryptocurrency
  7. Impeccable degree of discretion, confidentiality, and ethics
  8. Fluency in English with outstanding communication and presentation skills
