Summary

Responsibilities

1. Cooperating with BD team: from negotiations to deal closure, collaborating with the Business Development team throughout the entire process.
2. Updating Legal Documentation: updating the legal document package for the BD team, considering the specificities of the U.S. market.
3. Public Speaking: representing the company at public events and acting as a speaker on relevant topics.
4. Full legal support of the US office: overseeing the process of opening a U.S. office and establishing the necessary legal framework.
5. Evaluation of Marketing Materials: reviewing and assessing marketing materials for compliance and alignment with legal standards.
6. Monitoring Legislation and Case Law: keeping track of changes in legislation and legal practices, ensuring the company's operations remain compliant.
7. GR functions

Requirements

1. NYC located (+3 hours drive)
2. Legal degree from ABA-approved school (or equal)
3. Active license in U.S state (NYC preferable)
4. 7+ years of PQE in informational technologies, digital/cryptocurrencies, blockchain, securities laws and regulations, and related matters
5. Tech and finance deep legal experience
6. Proven experience with cryptocurrency\web3 industry
7. Hands-on experience with decentralized projects\defi, DAOs, governance-related matters
8. Deep understanding of industry practices
9. Proven GR experience (within the US, with institutional clients\exchanges)
10. Active social media life, participation in conferences
