Summary

We’re on the hunt for a dynamic Operations Manager who will play a critical role in optimizing our internal processes, ensuring efficiency, and driving operational excellence. This role is pivotal to ensuring that Quidax operates seamlessly as we scale, and it will involve managing day-to-day operations, refining workflows, and ensuring that our teams have the tools and systems to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Operational Strategy and Execution
  2. Design, implement, and optimize operational processes that align with our business objectives.
  3. Continuously identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions to streamline workflows across teams.
  4. Partner with leadership to align operations with Quidax’s vision and strategic goals.
  5. Team and Process Coordination
  6. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth collaboration and delivery of projects.
  7. Act as the bridge between various departments to drive clarity and alignment in processes.
  8. Work closely with the People and Culture team to ensure smooth onboarding, training, and integration of new team members.
  9. Develop and manage scalable systems for tracking and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs).
  10. Compliance and Risk Management
  11. Ensure that all operational activities comply with industry regulations and internal policies.
  12. Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
  13. Vendor and Resource Management
  14. Oversee relationships with key vendors, ensuring timely delivery of services and products.
  15. Manage budgets, contracts, and resources efficiently to meet operational needs.
  16. People Management
  17. Lead and mentor a team of operations associates, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
  18. Technology and Tools
  19. Evaluate and implement tools or technologies that enhance operational efficiency.
  20. Work with IT and Product teams to ensure systems are secure, up-to-date, and scalable.

Job requirements

What You Need to Have

  1. Experience: At least 5 years in operations, project management, or a related role, ideally in fintech or technology startups.
  2. Education: A degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is a plus.
  3. Skills:
  4. Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  5. Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
  6. Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders and teams effectively.
  8. Mindset:
  9. A proactive, problem-solving approach with a knack for identifying opportunities for improvement.
