Summary

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll contribute to our mission, vision, and strategy through a deep understanding of our customers and business needs. You will develop seamless user journeys, helping customers use cryptocurrency confidently and efficiently. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional (XFN) teams to create simple, user-friendly experiences that reflect the Coinbase brand and values. You are a systems thinker capable of creating scalable solutions that enable teams across Coinbase to build reliable, easy-to-use, and secure products.

What you’ll be doing 

1. Work in a small team to iteratively improve user experience
2. Take new features from ideation, to prototyping, to user testing, to production
3. Design web and mobile experiences that are simple and intuitive
4. Partner with our Design Systems team to document and define scalable design patterns
5. Participate in regular design reviews where you’ll seek out specific feedback on your designs and incorporate relevant feedback
6. Execute on the product roadmap and help define product strategy
7. Daily collaboration with Engineering, User Research, and Product 

What we look for in you 

1. 5+ years of professional Product Design experience
2. Bachelor's degree in a related field
3. Experience designing consumer-facing experiences for web and mobile
4. Excellence in UX thinking, visual design, and written communication
5. Experience working in a collaborative environment with engineers, user researchers, and product teams
6. Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools
7. Low ego, collaborative, and open minded
8. Interest in crypto or financial products

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).

Pay Range:

$175,100—$206,000 USD
