The Senior Product Finance Manager will be the dedicated financial strategist for our Product organization. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building, owning & maintaining financial models, reporting and analytics in support of Product and Finance leadership. You’ll help us develop the necessary product, engineering and infrastructure insights and business partnerships to accelerate our Product team’s goals and optimize our R&D spend

In this role, you will:

  1. Act as the strategic finance partner for our Product Organization, managing a significant annual budget while ensuring that investments are aligned to key business priorities
  2. Develop a financial framework for managing investments across infrastructure, core products, and new product development, and clearly communicate recommendations and scenario analysis to finance and product leaders
  3. Build, in partnership with Product leadership, product revenue and COGS reporting to analyze product performance
  4. Work with Product leadership to develop and manage our data hosting costs forecast.
  5. Collaborate cross-functionally with our GTM FP&A, Deal Desk, Pricing & Packaging, and Accounting teams on financial modeling of new products, and pricing and packaging of our current products
  6. Manage and optimize monthly, quarterly and annual BvA, forecast and planning processes for Product

We’re looking for candidates who have: 

  1. 10+ years of experience as a strategic finance business partner, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking or Private Equity
  2. Strong knowledge and experience in Business Planning Cycles - including budgets, forecasts, and monthly/quarterly business reviews 
  3. Excellent financial modeling skills, including the ability to work with large data sets in both Excel and Google Sheets
  4. Strong executive presentation skills - an ability to clearly and succinctly complex topics for a C-level audience
  5. A strong sense of initiative and the ability to create and manage their own workload
  6. Excellent time management, and stakeholder management skills
  7. Previous experience in a B2B, enterprise SaaS environment 

Nice to have experience: 

  1. Experience forecasting data hosting costs
  2. Familiarity with blockchain technology is a plus. 
  3. Experience with a Planning and Forecasting tool like Adaptive Insights, Anaplan or similar 
  4. Experience with BI tools like Tableau and data warehouses like Snowflake or Databricks
