Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic team at SMT. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and implementation of new product features and pricing strategies. As a key member of the product management team, you will collaborate closely with the SMT CEO, Chief Product Officer and cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities, define product requirements, and execute product initiatives that align with the company's strategic objectives.

  1. Lead the end-to-end ideation, development, and launch of new product features and enhancements to our digital advertising platform:
  2. Spearhead the product development process, from conceptualization to commercialization, ensuring the delivery of high-impact features aligned with business objectives.
  3. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation:
  4. Drive comprehensive market research initiatives to stay ahead of industry trends and understand customer preferences.
  5. Conduct regular competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities, informing the product strategy and ensuring our platform remains at the forefront of the market.
  6. Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize feature development, and establish product roadmaps:

  8. Work collaboratively to define clear product requirements, prioritize feature development, and create dynamic product roadmaps that address market demands.
  9. Develop comprehensive pricing strategies for new and existing products:
  10. Formulate and implement robust pricing strategies for both new and existing products, incorporating value-based pricing models, tiered pricing structures, and strategic promotional pricing campaigns.
  11. Regularly analyze pricing data, customer feedback, and market trends to optimize pricing strategies and identify revenue-maximizing opportunities.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful product delivery and adoption:
  13. Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment throughout the product development lifecycle.
  14. Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to drive successful product delivery and market adoption.
  15. Define key performance metrics and track the success of product initiatives:
  16. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives.
  17. Provide regular updates to senior management on the performance of product features, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational objectives.
  18. Serve as a subject matter expert on product features and pricing strategies:
  19. Act as the go-to authority on product features and pricing strategies, providing guidance and insights to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  20. Stay informed about market trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our product offerings remain competitive and innovative.
  21.  Other duties, or special projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  2. Experience developing and implementing pricing strategies for software-as-a-service (SaaS) products or digital platforms.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  4. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a proactive and results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  5. Knowledge of agile development methodologies and product management best practices.
  6. Passion for technology, innovation, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Education, Experience, and Training:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  2. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  3. 5+ years of experience in product management roles, with a focus on technology or related industries.
  4. Proven track record of successfully launching new products and features, from ideation to commercialization.

Tools Required for Remote Friendly Environment:

The SMT team is a remote friendly hybrid organization. The Executive Project Manager must excel in traditional executive administrative support but also bring a strategic focus on optimizing remote work dynamics.  

  1. Remote Communication Skills: Proficient in various remote communication tools and platforms, such as video conferencing, project management software, and instant messaging, to effectively collaborate with remote teams and foster open lines of communication.
  2. Cybersecurity Awareness: A strong commitment to cybersecurity best practices to protect company and employee data in a remote work setting.
  3. Virtual Team Building: Participation in virtual team-building activities and events to strengthen employee connections and morale in remote settings.

Remote Work Tools and Infrastructure:

  1. High-Speed Internet: Ensure that remote employees have access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection to support their work.
  2. Remote Workspace: Have a dedicated and ergonomic remote workspace with appropriate equipment and furniture to ensure comfort and productivity.
  3. Security Protocols: Adhere to security protocols to protect confidential company information and maintain data privacy while working remotely.

Technological Proficiency:

  1. Proficiency in Virtual Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Asana, and/or similar platforms.
  2. Cloud-Based Systems: Experience with cloud-based systems and software for managing operations in a remote-friendly environment.
