About the Role

MetaMask is expanding beyond Ethereum. You will be responsible for the end-to-end Bitcoin experience: onboarding users to Bitcoin accounts (SegWit, Taproot, etc), supporting different types of transactions, enabling dapps to connect to MetaMask, and connecting with hardware wallets. This is a highly visible and collaborative role. You will work with multiple teams across MetaMask to drive our go-to-market strategy for Bitcoin. 

We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about unlocking the benefits of decentralized technology for everyday people. You will be directly responsible for introducing Bitcoin in the world’s most popular wallet. In this role, you will ensure that MetaMask continues to support our mission of onboarding the next billion crypto users. 

Responsibilities 

1. Define vision, strategy, and roadmap, working closely with engineers, designers, analysts, data scientists, and researchers. We expect our product managers to be full stack, working on long term strategies but also working on individual tickets with the team.
2. Design and deliver crypto products that advance the MetaMask mission.
3. Research user problems and stay ahead of market developments in Web3 and traditional finance.
4. Drive adoption of crypto-first product features, working closely with various partners and teams across Web3 and traditional finance.
5. Shape and define standards for building great consumer products, educate our product teams, and hold the bar across the company. 
6. Grow and lead the work of a cross-functional team (user research, data analytics, technical writing, front end, and API developers) to be user-focused, discovery-led, and data driven as the consumer’s advocate. 

You may be a fit for this role if you have:

1. A passion for crypto/DeFi and Fintech, open platforms, and equal financial opportunity.
2. Able to take a zoomed-out, long term view, but also able to roll up your sleeves and discuss urgent technical or design issues with the team.
3. 4+ years of product management experience. You have driven products from discovery to launch; aligned teams and stakeholders on a shared vision tied to larger strategy; orchestrated cross-functional teams of analysts, designers, and engineers; facilitated user research or experiments to validate hypotheses; used metrics and feedback to drive development; shipped highly technical products in a fast moving environment. 
4. 2+ years of experience working on consumer products in crypto or the financial sector.

1. Experience building consumer-focused products
2. Experience working in the crypto space and familiarity with the Bitcoin ecosystem. You’ve used Bitcoin wallets and dapps, experimented with Lightning network, runes, ordinals, BRC-20s, layer-2 networks like Stacks, Rootstock, and Spiderchain, and have a solid understanding of the underlying technologies.

The salary range for US-based candidates only will be determined throughout the interview process depending on experience and skills.
