Summary

You will be one of the key leaders in MetaMask’s developer strategy, on a mission to make life easier for Web3 builders both within and outside ConsenSys. This role will significantly impact MetaMask’s long-term growth by designing and implementing our Web3 APIs, a key component of our overarching developer strategy.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for the discovery, design, implementation, and launch of Web3 APIs. These APIs include transaction history, balances, prices, tokens, spam detection, gas price, and many more, used both by our internal platforms (Portfolio, Extension, and Mobile) and soon by external developers as well.

This team works closely with our Data Lake team.

Responsibilities

1. Drive product development for our developers strategy, from Web3 APIs discovery to concept to launch
2. Drive APIs adoption and retention
3. Align teams and stakeholders on a shared vision tied to larger strategy
4. Orchestrate cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, analysts
5. Facilitate user research to validate hypotheses and inform development
6. Stay ahead of user needs, product trends, and market dynamics
7. Define, measure, analyze user feedback, product growth, and business outcomes
8. Shape and develop your product roadmap; harden vision into strategy through discovery
9. Groom backlogs, plan sprints, conduct retros, unblock your team

What We Look For in You

1. 3-5+ years of software product management experience, ideally including developers-facing products
2. Very strong technical background (some development experience is strongly preferred)
3. Strong passion and interest in Web3 and blockchain
4. Good technical understanding of how Ethereum and smart contracts work
5. Familiarity with processes (e.g. Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g. JIRA, Notion, Figma, GitHub, MixPanel)
6. Excellent communication, relationship management and organizational skills
7. Data-driven, user-focused, and analytical
8. Methodical prioritization and problem solving skills
9. Entrepreneurial with a growth mindset; independently driven, constantly learning, always improving
10. Team player, inclusive leader, open to feedback, and transparent with intentions.

The salary range for US-based candidates only will be determined throughout the interview process depending on experience and skills.
