Summary

Eiger was founded to develop infrastructure for web3 mass adoption. We help technology companies improve and integrate the core technologies of web3 to meet the climbing demands for scale and performance. 

We currently employ 50+ senior web3 engineers across the globe and work with some of the most ambitious organizations in the industry, including Celestia, Polkadot, Stellar, Zcash, Axelar, Avail, Internet Computer, Forte, Aleo, Starknet, Fireblocks, XRP Labs, to name a few.

We are looking for a Senior Rust Engineer to join us.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Researching and understanding complex protocols
2. Designing, implementing, and documenting distributed systems
3. Developing protocols or protocol-driven applications in Rust
4. Designing and developing testing and quality assurance processes
5. Communicating with clients or open source communities

Must-have skills and qualifications:

1. Experience in systems programming
2. Experience in leading small teams
3. Ability to design interoperable software architectures
4. At least 5+ years of experience in collaborative software development
5. At least 3 year of hands-on Rust experience
6. Full proficiency in English

Good-to-haves:

1. Experience with domain-specific languages
2. Cryptography & infosec knowledge
