About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Smart Contract Engineer with at least two years of experience in Ethereum development using Solidity. The ideal candidate will design and develop secure and efficient smart contract protocols. They must have a deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals, the EVM, and experience with developer tools, security best practices, and testing frameworks.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and deploy smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain
2. Ensure the security and efficiency of smart contracts through rigorous testing and audits
3. Collaborate with product managers and other developers to define project requirements
4. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in blockchain technology and smart contract development
5. Work closely with leadership, product teams and auditors to review potential vulnerabilities and write documentation on these systems

Required Skills:

1. Strong understanding of blockchain technology and the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)
2. Proficient with developer tools, security best practices, and testing frameworks
3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
4. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and geographically remote teams, partners, and community members

Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Ethereum development using Solidity
3. Experience in Web3 security, including smart-contract audits, formal verification, validator node management, wallet security, and key management. 
4. Experience working remotely and asynchronously, with with a moderate overlap in time availability during USA Eastern Time Zone working hours
