About the Role: We’re seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in blockchain infrastructure, particularly within the Cosmos Ecosystem and Cosmos SDK to join our team. If you have a strong background in Golang and are passionate about building and optimizing high-performance blockchain systems, we’d love to hear from you. 

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain blockchain infrastructure using the Cosmos SDK.
2. Design, implement, and optimize high-performance consensus algorithms and protocols
3. Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of blockchain systems
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
5. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers 
6. Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in blockchain and cryptocurrency
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in blockchain applications and systems
8. Set and maintain high standards of technical excellence across the team.

Required Skills

1. Strong proficiency in Golang
2. Deep understanding of blockchain principles, consensus algorithms, and cryptographic protocols
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
4. Writing good technical documentation for use by internal teams
5. Demonstrate depth of knowledge in a specific area while maintaining a breadth of knowledge across multiple ecosystem topics.

Education and Experience

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
2. Proven experience in developing blockchain solutions using the Cosmos SDK
3. Experience with distributed systems and peer-to-peer networks
4. Experience working remotely and asynchronously, with some overlap during Boston, USA working hours.
