WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  1. Responsible for on-time delivery of multiple initiatives related to site reliability, internal developer experience and infrastructure efficiency
  2. Measure efficiency of resolving customer requests
  3. Use a data driven approach to measuring the team’s efficiency and output
  4. Influence effectiveness of Operation Excellence processes
  5. Partner with program managers, product managers, and engineering managers to understand development priorities and drive alignment across multiple partners with competing priorities
  6. Proactively identify and mitigate risks and remove obstacles to impeding development achievements
  7. Drive testing dependencies for assigned engineering teams but also across teams as products converge for release
  8. Build release, bug, and tracking dashboards to advise partners of development progress and gaps

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  1. 8+ years of previous release and/or project management experience on projects involving complex enterprise tech environments
  2. Ability to use data and analytics to look at trends and manage health of projects and systems
  3. Proven understanding and working knowledge of the software development life cycle and modern project management standard processes, such as Agile, Scrum, Six Sigma, etc.
  4. Ability to coordinate cross-functionally, build consensus, and execute across teams. Able to influence without authority, negotiate and encourage others in a matrixed environment
  5. Experience with project planning tools such as Jira, Confluence, and a proficient user of Google Sheets
  6. Experience in cloud infrastructure

Basic Qualifications

  1. 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
  2. 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  3. Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  4. Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Understanding of Kubernetes, AWS services, Observability and Networking
  2. Had led large scale infrastructure programs across multiple engineering organizations

For positions that will be based in CA, the annual salary range for this position is below. Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position. This range does not include equity or additional compensation, such as bonuses or commissions. 

CA Annual Base Salary Range

$189,600—$237,000 USD
