Test Automation Team at Flipster

At Flipster, the Test Automation Team’s mission is to maximize product quality and reliability, and shorten the release cycle through repeatable test processes. We utilize the latest automation technologies to ensure product stability and performance.

Specifically, we contribute to ensuring product quality, reliability, stability and performance with the following R&R:

1. Design, develop and maintain high-quality automated test scripts to ensure product quality.

2. Run automated tests in a continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) environment to verify that code changes work as expected.

3. Analyze test results and report problems to quickly resolve software defects.

4. Improve test automation framework and introduce new tools and technologies to increase test efficiency.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and stability of our Android and iOS applications. You will develop and maintain an automated test framework and plan to extend the test coverage to Web applications in the future.

Responsibilities

1. Develop, maintain, and run automated test scripts for Android and iOS applications using Appium and Python.
2. Design and implement a test framework to support automation strategies.
3. Work with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage
4. Monitor and analyze test results to identify and report bugs and performance issues.
5. Continuously learn industry best practices and new technologies in test automation
6. Extend test coverage to web applications
7. Document test plans, test cases, and test results.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
2. 5+ years of experience in mobile application test automation
3. Proficiency in Appium and Python
4. Experience with test reporting tools like Allure
5. Understanding the software development life cycle and QA methodologies
6. Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, etc.

Preferred

1. Experience in automating web application testing
2. Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms and services
3. Certification in Test Automation or related field
4. Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
5. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
6. Ability to work in an independent and team-oriented environment
7. Experience in integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality
