Coinbase is seeking aspiring early career backend engineers to join our team to build out the next generation of crypto-forward products and features. You will solve unique, large scale, highly complex technical problems, bridging the constraints posed by web-scale applications and blockchain technology. You will help build the next generation of systems to make cryptocurrency accessible to everyone across the globe, operating real-time applications with high frequency, low latency updates, and managing the most secure, dockerized infrastructure running in the cloud.

The mission of the Platform Product Group engineers is to build a trusted, scalable and compliant platform to operate with speed, efficiency and quality. Our teams build and maintain the platforms critical to the existence of Coinbase. There are many teams that make up this group which include Product Foundations (i.e. Identity, Payment, Risk, Proofing & Regulatory, Finhub), Machine Learning, Customer Experience, and Infrastructure.

What you will be doing:

1. You will write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers
2. You will execute scoped technical tasks end-to-end to help Coinbase fulfill its mission to increase economic freedom in the world
3. You will independently take ownership over the completion and quality of your tasks and projects 
4. You will be collaborating with other engineers, product managers and designers at Coinbase

What we look for in you:

1. You have graduated university with >2 year of industry experience + internship experience 
2. You write high quality, well tested code 
3. You have experience executing technical tasks and projects end-to-end 
4. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English
5. You’re passionate about building an open financial system that brings the world together
6. You build resilient and scalable micro-services
7. You’re excited about tackling complex problems and getting things done

Nice to haves:

1. You’ve worked with Golang, Protobuff, GRPC, GraphQL, MongoDB, Docker, Ruby on Rails
