Summary

In this role you'll be working closely with the CEO to develop, maintain, and the rollup stack offerings and customizations made possible by our leading Rollup-as-a-Service platform. You’ll develop custom precompiles and whitelisted contract deployers that create entirely new or more efficient functionality, as well as help us expand our support for emerging L2s. We value people who can quickly obtain a deep technical understanding, are able to quickly create proof-of-concepts to validate entirely new approaches, and enjoy being self-directed and identifying the most important problems to solve.

As a Software Engineer, Rollup Product you should:

1. A strong background in distributed systems, cryptography, and network protocols.
2. Have some experience hacking on the various rollups, understand the underlying components, and have opinions about the various trade-offs of those components and platforms.
3. Have some experience with hacking on EVM node software.
4. Have a deep understanding of the EVM and how external tooling integrates with it.
5. Familiarity with multiple programming languages, including but not limited to Golang, Rust, and Solidity.
6. Contribute to defining Conduit’s product strategy and roadmap with the rest of the team.
