Summary

THE WORK:

We are seeking a Rust/C++ developer to join our Custody Team in Geneva, Switzerland.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

1. Work with complex technologies where solutions are to be created, expect challenges,
2. Build scalable and distributed components in Rust/C++ for the backend of Harmonize,
3. Interact with the different teams, including software architects, frontend and backend developers, product owners and designers,
4. Analyze different blockchains protocols and understand their specificities,
5. Apply latest cryptographic primitives in the context of blockchains and secure components,
6. Actively participate in code reviews so that code delivered by you and your team is of great quality,
7. Collaborate closely with support, QA and operations teams,
8. Work partly in remote.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 

1. BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, equivalent practical engineering experience is a reasonable substitute,
2. 4+ year of experience in software development using C++,
3. 2+ year of experience with Rust including Tokio framework,
4. 2+ year of experience with distributed systems,
5. Strong knowledge of cryptography
6. Strong knowledge of bytes manipulation
7. Nice to have knowledge of:
8. Docker,
9. Kubernetes,
10. gRPC and Protobuf,
11. Blockchain technology.
