As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the [CCB Digital], you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Job responsibilities

1. Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
2. Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
3. Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
4. Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
5. Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
6. Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
7. Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
2. 5+ years of iOS development experience using Swift, Objective-C, Xcode and open source libraries
3. 3+ years of experience with mobile testing – unit test, automation test, testing/debugging using emulator and device
4. 3+ years of experience with mobile application profiling for memory analysis, thread analysis and heap analysis
5. 3+ years of experience with reusable iOS framework or component development
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills – design and APIs documentations
7. 3+ experience with mobile build configuration and dependency management system
