Summary

The Data Platform team develops and manages the systems that enable Ramp's reporting, strategic decision-making, and integration of machine learning models into our operational systems and products. As a member of the Data Platform team, you’ll build and maintain the infrastructure that helps Ramp derive value from data. You’ll also collaborate with Ramp’s analytics engineers, applied scientists, software engineers, and other data professionals to create both internally and externally facing data infrastructure and products.

What You’ll Do

1. Collaborate on our technical vision, participate in discussions, and lead the implementation of complex projects.
2. Continuously improve our engineering processes, tools, and systems to scale our codebase, productivity, and team.
3. Inspire and mentor less experienced engineers and interns.

What You Need

1. A minimum of 1 year of software engineering experience (preferred).
2. Expertise in building scalable software with Python, Golang, or Java (required).
3. Experience with frontend technologies; React experience is a strong plus.
4. A proven track record of delivering high-quality products and features at scale.
5. The ability to translate business and product ideas into engineering solutions.
6. A desire to work in a fast-paced environment, continuously grow, and master your craft.
