Responsibilities

1. Design and development of micro-service based electronic trading system components from scratch.
2. Develop features and improvements to our products in a secure, well-tested, and performant way
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Qualifications

1. Excellent programming skills in Python, and an ability to pick up new ones. Working experience in Rust is a plus
2. 10+ years of solid work with fundamental algorithms, system design, and large distributed systems
3. Excellent designing fault-tolerant software
4. Thorough knowledge of computer architecture and networks
5. A firm grasp of good principles of software engineering like TDD, writing modular, maintainable, clean code, and are used to working in an Agile environment
6. Experience building scalable systems
7. Proven experience in leading technical teams
8. Hands-on experience delivering real-time data over the web
9. Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive

Preferred

1. Experience building micro-service architecture systems, test automation, large-scale database design, derivatives pricing, scaling, operating system and network layer performance tuning, high-frequency trading system
2. Computer Science / Engineering degree preferable
3. Self-driven and proactive personality
4. English proficiency in writing and speaking
