BitGo is growing our Toronto based hub and hiring Software Engineers for across multiple teams. Responsibilities:

1. Design and build scalable, well abstracted, and robust APIs, libraries, and services to integrate blockchains and staking functionality into our custody platforms and power our financial services
2. Own functionality and scalability features by taking responsibility from research, implementation to deployment.
3. Build integration libraries and SDKs to interface with our server and APIs
4. Expose and document functionality to the UI, third-party developers, and our internal and external tooling
5. Collaborate closely with all engineering teams and product managers to ensure consistency in understanding of technical requirements and overall work quality

Skills & Experience:

Required:

1. Experience with server-side languages like Golang, TypeScript/Node.JS, Java
2. Experience with SQL databases like MySQL or Postgres
3. Confident with RESTful API design
4. Great with unit and functional testing and debugging
5. Bachelor's degree in computer science, applied mathematics, or another technical discipline from a top university
6. Great at algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
7. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
8. Experience in Git/GitHub and branching methodologies, code review tools, CI tools, etc.

Preferred:

1. Understanding of and strong interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain
2. Experience with microservices and service-oriented architectures
3. Experience with large-scale, real-time, and distributed applications
4. Familiarity with Containers and Kubernetes
5. Understanding of and experience working in the financial industry
