About the Role: We are on the lookout for a Senior Blockchain Engineer with a strong focus on low-latency optimizations and distributed systems. If you’re experienced in libp2p, protobuf, network programming, and have a solid grasp of blockchain concepts like cryptography and signature schemes, this role is for you.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize low-latency systems and distributed protocols.
- Implement and enhance network solutions for scalable P2P or blockchain networks, primarily using Libp2p (in Golang).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and deliver cutting-edge solutions.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance.

- Strong proficiency in Golang and libp2p
- Deep understanding of blockchain principles, consensus algorithms, and cryptographic protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Writing good technical documentation for use by internal teams
- Demonstrate depth of knowledge in a specific area while maintaining a breadth of knowledge across multiple ecosystem topics.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Demonstrated experience in low-latency optimizations and distributed systems.
- Strong expertise in protobuf, network programming (libp2p), and distributed protocols.
- Familiarity with blockchain technology, cryptographic concepts, and related technologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a drive to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working remotely and asynchronously, with a moderate overlap in time availability during USA Eastern Time Zone working hours.

Salary range: (negotiable, dependent on how we assess your skills and experience throughout our interview process) We are happy to pay in any mix of fiat/crypto.
