About the role 

As a Junior Finance Associate at CoinSwitch, you will be an integral part of our finance team, contributing to various functions including treasury management, audits, revenue assurance, and transformations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in diverse financial operations while supporting the company's growth and financial objectives.

What You Will Do:

• Coordinate with the Fin-ops team for daily / weekly reporting and reconciliations.
• Design and finalize the reporting manner for month end book closure as well as management reporting.
• Perform month-end close procedures related to revenue accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Serve as a liaison between audit teams and departmental personnel during audit fieldwork.
• Coordinate pre-audit meetings with audit teams and departmental stakeholders to discuss audit objectives, scope, and expectations.
• Monitor daily cash balances and forecast cash flow requirements to ensure sufficient liquidity for operating needs.
• Prepare regular reports on treasury activities, including cash balances, cash flow forecasts, and investment performance.
• Assist in cross-functional teams to redesign and optimize finance processes, workflows, and procedures.

What You Should Have:

• B.Com / MBA with 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, audits, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Experience in BIG4 is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance in a regulated environment.
