Summary

As a Senior Engineering Manager reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, you will be a trailblazer, building and leading a high-performing engineering team in India. Your team will initially focus on data engineering, but will eventually expand to work across all internal products. You will set a high technical bar, champion Roblox's leadership principles, and drive the delivery of innovative products that delight our users.

You Will:

4. Strategic Planning: Contribute to the overall engineering strategy for Roblox India. Find opportunities for innovation and growth, and prioritize projects that deliver the most value to our users.
5. Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement within your team. Encourage experimentation, knowledge sharing, and adoption of new technologies.

You Have:

1. Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading and scaling engineering teams, ideally in a high-growth environment.
2. Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of data engineering principles, architectures, and technologies. Experience with modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and ETL/ELT pipelines.
3. Roblox Alignment: Strong alignment with Roblox's leadership principles, including a focus on respect, safety, creativity, and community.
4. Excellent Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport with team members, stakeholders, and leaders across the organization.
