We are on the hunt for a new Sr. Sales & BD Lead to join our team in Europe! Were seeking highly ambitious and driven sales professionals to lead CF Benchmarks sales initiatives for our suite of index products. The #1 goal of this role is to expand our client base, drive new revenue, and ultimately help our clients succeed. With complete ownership of the end-to-end sales process, you'll not only have the opportunity to offer our product suite but also to build solid, lasting partnerships with your clients.

You will play a key role in executing and refining the firm's go-to-market strategy, working closely with the index content and marketing teams to achieve commercial objectives. You will also be expected to gather market intelligence and provide strategic feedback to help shape the firm's product development strategy and pipeline. The Opportunity

  1. Lead the CF Benchmarks sales effort across Europe, driving client acquisition and volume growth for the CF Benchmarks product suite.
  2. Generate, filter, and pursue client leads through both inbound and outbound activities, while also supporting team members in doing the same.
  3. Manage a portfolio of institutional clients, building trust-based relationships, recognizing their needs, and demonstrating how CF Benchmarks can deliver value.
  4. Identify new opportunities for the company's indices and data to play an increasing role in both the cryptocurrency and traditional financial industries.
  5. Represent CF Benchmarks at industry events, traveling across Europe for client meetings, conferences, and strategic engagements.
  6. Collaborate with content and marketing teams to convert brand awareness and interest into tangible business opportunities.

Skills you should HODL

  1. +5 years of expertise in traditional finance sales, demonstrating a proven track record of driving sales and expanding business within the institutional sales segment. Experience working in a crypto native environment is a big plus.
  2. Solid comprehension of the use cases for indices and market participants that would utilize them and knowledge of complex financial products.
  3. Possess comprehensive knowledge of cryptocurrency regulations with a proven ability to navigate and ensure adherence to evolving regulatory frameworks. Knowledge of the EU BMR regulatory framework is a plus.
  4. A robust personal network within the financial services sector, particularly with a focus on institutional and corporate clients.
  5. Interest about the cryptocurrency world and most importantly a learning attitude about new crypto-industry trends.
  6. Believe wholeheartedly in the crypto, cypherpunk, libertarian values of Kraken described in our Tentaclements document.
  7. Located in Europe or the UK, with fluency in English. Proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
