Summary

What you’ll do

We are looking for a senior backend engineer with production application experience to work on growing our multi-chain EVM Datalake. This team extracts and indexes on-chain data taking in requirements from both our internal applications and our developer community. The ideal candidate for this position has deep experience working with the Ethereum protocol and is able to design and lead a complex feature area autonomously. 

Would be great if you brought this to the role

1. 8+ years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer working on production applications
2. Strong proficiency with GoLang development 
3. Strong proficiency of relational databases: PostgreSQL
4. Experience working on data engineering and data products
5. Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
6. Experience working on agile projects in an Agile environment
7. Experience working in CI/CD setup
8. Experience working in a distributed, remote team environment
9. Experience as a Team Lead or Tech Lead
10. Excellent communication skills
11. Ability and experience in writing good technical documentation
12. Located in EMEA/able to work EMEA business hours

Bonus Points for any of:

1. BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related subject
2. Experience working with decentralized applications or web3 protocols
3. Experience in Typescript
4. Experience with microservices architectures
5. Understanding of blockchain technology, especially Ethereum
6. Blockchain / smart contract development: Solidity / Ethereum, Web3.js or Ethers.js library
7. General interest in DevOps topics / experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes and deploying cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure)
