Summary

We are looking for Software Engineers passionate about solving challenging problems in the cross-border payments space. We are passionate about the growth of our engineers and place a premium on career development. You will have a high degree of accountability and responsibility from Day 1.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

1. Be an entrepreneurial builder, working up and down the stack, mixing software engineering, data engineering, and distributed systems knowledge to build modern enterprise payment applications.
2. Build reliable, high-throughput, low-latency microservices to power seamless cross border transactions.
3. Participate in the full software development lifecycle by gathering requirements, leveraging sound software design principles, and ensuring operational excellence with unit & integration testing
4. Work with teams across the organization, including product, legal, and finance to think beyond the technical implications of your design decisions
5. Continuously raise our standard of engineering excellence by implementing and driving best practices for coding, testing, and deployment
6. Proactively identify customer and infrastructure pain points and drive corresponding solutions.
7. Mentor and support growth of junior engineers.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

1. 8+ years of hands-on Software Development experience on large scale distributed systems, with the last 8+ years in Java or similar (Golang, Scala etc).
2. Experience in building transactional systems backed by modern persistence technologies (Aurora, DynamoDB etc.)
3. Experience developing APIs and SDKs
4. Experience with Agile development of distributed services, with a focus on robust software design, scalability and security.
5. Experience building and deploying containerized applications into modern distributed computing environments (Kubernetes, Nomad etc.)
6. Experience working with cloud infrastructures, particularly AWS
7. Ability to encourage and drive engineering best practices
8. A positive attitude and a passion for sharing knowledge
9. Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical subject area

Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position. This range does not include equity or additional compensation, such as bonuses or commissions. 

CA Annual Base Salary Range

$187,200—$234,000 USD
