Summary
As a Third-Party Risk Manager, your mission is to ensure the seamless integration and management of outsourcing processes within our organization. You will be responsible for implementing and enhancing robust outsourcing management frameworks, ensuring that all outsourcing activities are effectively controlled and monitored. By developing and maintaining risk assessment methodologies and tools, you will safeguard our operations against potential risks. You will play a critical role in providing comprehensive documentation, advice, and training to ensure compliance with internal and legal requirements. Your efforts will support various departments in navigating the complexities of outsourcing, enabling them to focus on their core functions while you manage the risks and regulatory aspects. Your proactive approach in identifying and escalating potential breaches will be key to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our outsourcing arrangements.
In this role, you will:
Implement and further develop appropriate outsourcing management and corresponding control and monitoring processes
Develop and maintain risk assessment methodology and tools for outsourcing arrangements
Ensure independent and efficient controls of the outsourcing risks, identify possible breaches and escalate to relevant decision-making body as early as possible
Create and maintain complete documentation of outsourcing, including subcontractors (outsourcing register)
Provide advice, training and support in performing the outsourcing classification
Support of the departments with regard to the internal and legal requirements for outsourcing and outsourcing controlling
Coordinate and review of the risk analysis carried out by the responsible divisions
What you need to be successful:
Demonstrated experience in outsourcing management, risk assessment, and compliance, preferably in a regulated industry (e.g.: finance, banking, insurance)
Ability to develop and maintain risk assessment methodologies and tools, with a keen eye for identifying potential risks and breaches
In-depth understanding of internal and legal requirements for outsourcing, with the ability to provide accurate advice and support
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create clear documentation and deliver training and support to various departments
Ability to work effectively with different departments, supporting them in complying with outsourcing requirements
Strong organizational and project management skills to coordinate and review risk analyses conducted by various divisions
German language skills are a plus; English is mandatory
