Summary

We are looking for a Tokenomics & Governance Manager who can join us along this mission and vision. You’ll become an integral part of the Eco team, which takes on the task of supporting the growth of the broader WOO brand, including the token and products. This team is mainly remote and handles areas like WOO tokenomics, investor relations, fundraising and partnerships. 

As a Tokenomics & Governance Manager, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing token economic models and governance mechanisms. You will ensure that our token utility, incentive structures, and governance frameworks align with industry best practices and support the long-term sustainability and growth of our ecosystem. Your expertise will drive adoption, user engagement, and effective decentralized decision-making in our DeFi and DAO projects. Interested? Keep on reading!

What you’ll be working on:

1. Designing and implementing robust tokenomics models, including supply mechanisms, utility, incentives, and value capture strategies.
2. Developing governance structures that facilitate transparent and effective decentralized decision-making.
3. Analysing market trends and emerging best practices in tokenomics and governance to ensure our strategies remain cutting-edge.
4. Collaborating with developers, economists, and community managers to integrate token mechanics into product and protocol design.
5. Conducting economic modelling, simulations, and stress testing to evaluate token sustainability and incentive alignment.
6. Working closely with stakeholders, including DAOs and community participants, to optimize governance frameworks.
7. Monitoring and measuring token performance and governance effectiveness, proposing data-driven improvements.
8. Ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks in token and governance design

About you:

1. Proven experience designing and implementing tokenomics and governance models in DeFi projects and DAOs.
2. Deep understanding of incentive mechanisms, staking models, and governance structures in blockchain ecosystems.
3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to model and interpret complex economic systems.
4. Experience with blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and governance tooling (e.g., Snapshot, Aragon, Tally, Governor contracts).
5. Familiarity with on-chain and off-chain governance processes and their trade-offs.
6. Ability to work cross-functionally with engineers, product teams, and community stakeholders.
7. Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate economic concepts clearly.
8. Passion for decentralized finance, blockchain technology, and Web3 innovation.
