What you’ll do

1. Collaborate with product managers and engineers to transform ideas into functional, visually stunning user interfaces.
2. Translate user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints into impactful designs.
3. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate your vision effectively.
4. Ensure seamless handoffs by preparing detailed design specifications, assets, and guidelines for development.
5. Work with the engineering team to troubleshoot design issues during development and ensure implementation matches the vision.
6. Maintain and evolve design systems, components, and style guides to ensure consistency across all products.
7. Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback and improve workflows between design, product, and engineering teams.
8. Stay updated on UI design trends and advocate for best practices in usability and accessibility.

What your day-to-day looks like

1. Pairing with engineers and product managers to discuss technical feasibility and refine designs as needed.
2. Using tools like Figma to create responsive layouts and interactive prototypes for new features.
3. Joining standups and sprint planning sessions to align with product and engineering timelines.
4. Reviewing builds to ensure UI designs are implemented accurately and suggesting adjustments where necessary.
5. Collaborating with the UX and product teams to align designs with broader user journeys and business goals.
6. Exploring new design tools and workflows to improve efficiency and collaboration.
