Summary

We are now looking for a web3 native VP of Business Development reporting into our CEO, Jess Houlgrave to help us plan and execute our go-to-market strategy and drive client acquisition for our SDKs and network. The Team:

We have team members working worldwide. We leverage agile methodologies to move quickly and stay focused. Communication is vital to us, and we rely heavily on Slack, Google Workspace, Notion, and Telegram to help us stay in sync. Today we’ve got a BD manager and a BDR but we have big growth plans over the coming years. This role will ultimately build out our global BD and partnerships team and work very closely with marketing, product and developer relations.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for self-starters and mission-driven individuals to join us as we expand WalletConnect across Web3. The ideal candidate for this role takes initiative and ownership over their work, thrives in fast-paced and highly collaborative remote settings, and is capable of rapidly adapting to evolving needs as required. You'll be at the helm of pioneering Web3 solutions on top of one of the most developer-friendly blockchain across multiple ecosystems. 

You will work closely with our team to bring users, experienced teams, dApps\wallets, web3 projects, and novel primitives to WalletConnect, engaging with groups at the earliest stages in their development and identifying opportunities to play a key role in the broader ecosystem. You’ll also build out our partnerships programme partnering with L1s, L2s and other SDKs built on the WalletConnect Network.

Requirements

  1. Experience in building and executing successful GTM and pricing strategies for early stage products within crypto / blockchains as well as scaling products with existing product market fit
  2. Experience in building creative strategic partnerships to open new business opportunities
  3. Be the trusted partner for our largest app developers helping to identify their future needs and partnering with our product teams to help them identify opportunities
  4. Technical Web3 background with solid understanding of wallets, SDKs, dApps, etc.
  5. Experience with a broad customer base given WalletConnect’s self-serve offering to developers up to enterprise sales motions for executive audiences/clients in web2
  6. Strong network in crypto 
  7. Built and scaled global teams with ability to identify and recruit talent
