Introduction to AI Ethics

The third section, officially the first module of this course, offers an introduction to AI ethics. The module starts with an overview and then gets into some basic details about AI Ethics so the students can get to know more about why ethics in AI are important and what can happen if these ethics are not practiced. As the module progresses, it also covers ethical frameworks, principles in AI, core concepts, ethical challenges, and some key principles of responsible AI use.

Responsible AI Development

This module of the course sheds light on some responsible AI developments that can be helpful. The module starts with just an overview but then dwells deeper into responsible AI development and discusses bias and fairness in AI. Within this module, the students will also get to know more about transparency, accountability, and governance in AI. For practical understanding, there is a demo exploring Microsoft Responsible AI and some interactive exercises for hands-on practice as well

Privacy and Security in AI

This module mainly discusses privacy and security principles and their uses within AI. The module starts with an overview of all the concepts and content included. After the overview, the students will learn about data collection, different practices of data collection, and its usage. The students will also get to explore some risk factors, mitigation strategies in practice, and ethical data management practices in AI. By the end of this module, there is a demo section focusing on examples of privacy EUL, followed by an interactive exercise section for hands-on learning.

Social and Ethical Impact of AI

This module covers the social and ethical impact of AI. Similar to other modules, this module also starts with an overview that consists of a basic introduction of everything that the students will get to learn within this module. The module then explores some important topics like automation, job displacement because of AI, and social good as an impact of AI. This module contains two demo sections that mainly help the learner get to know about the use of ChatGPT and Bard. There is also an interactive exercise section so the students can gain some hands-on experience with AI.

Policy Devolvement

This module is all about policy development so the students can get to know about some of the important rules rolled out by law enforcement agencies so far. The module starts with an overview and then explores some important topics like ethical AI leadership culture, ethical AI policy elements, and ethical AI in a changing landscape. For the hands-on practice, this module also includes interactive exercises.

Summary and Final Exam

This section marks the end of the course, as it offers a recap of the whole course along with the final exam.
